Heres yet another segment of my conversation with Terry Riley: A couple of years ago Terry invited me to his ranch for lunch and an interview for the documentary Tuia Cherici was making about Claude Debussys piano which is housed in Le Musée Labenche dArt et dHistoire (municipal de la Ville de Brive, France). Terry and I talked about many different subjects including his work with Stefano Scodanibbio (Thinking of Stefano Scodanibbio), Kronos Quartet and so on. Tuias documentary was published and can be viewed on my web-site as well as other locations. Terry also gave me permission to include other segments of the talk we had in Picoas Project, which is a series of miniature documentaries Angela C Villa and I have created to encourage more involvement in community/art among the general population. it is not our intention to focus on famous artists, necessarily, but on the great work that is happening more under the radar in communities throughout N. America and Europe. However, I have this wonderful footage of Terry and am now going through it, editing a bit and publishing. Each day Ill upload another segment.
