Here’s a poem submitted by reader Charmaine J. Forde entitled Norma Jean Jackson. My pressure high, my Sugar high too, But I gotta eat, what am I supposed to do? All I had for Breakfast, Were three scrambled eggs with cheese. I dont care for the Low fat stuff, Thank You! If you please!!! *A few pieces of bacon, Wouldn’t kill me Right? I dont want my Toast dark, I prefer it light. *Only four packs of butter, cause I really cutting back, No milk in my coffee, I gine drinking it black. Along with my well done sausages, I only want four pancakes, Instead of the Hash browns, I gine eat some bakes, *The Doctor told me to exercise every single day. She wants me to look anorexic, But I tell she “No way. She told me “to try to walk at least a mile per day, And I should start listening to whatever she says.” But I really don’t feel like listening to she today. *She even told me to take my time and eat, But every time I do what she say, I do become real weak. One thing she dont really know about me is That Im quite a Lady, But somehow she treats me like I am a fourteenth month old Baby. *Mrs. Norma Jackson, Youve got to lose weight Youre well on your way to The Pearly Gates. *Let me finish this Haagen-Dazs ice-cream Which I didnt buy, And since she playing she talking trash I going and finish my Pie.
