Here’s another image from the Sinulog street parade in Cebu, Philippines. I’ve known this guy since I was a kid. He was a comedian back then both in television and radio shows. My recollection of him was such a funny guy. Then I got the chance to see him this year. I approached him straight away and took a couple of shots then it hit me. I saw his vulnerability… somewhat weird which is in contrast to who we all think of him, as a “funny guy”. Looking at him now he has surely aged…perhaps looking at his eyes exposed a little bit of him inside. Thought I love seeing the other side of him…not just the comedian that we all knew…but the serious side of him. Shot in 1Ds with a pancake 40mm lens. Happy to hear your thoughts.
