Here’s how it happened: Benjamin and I got home from visiting Alec and his new kitty LeeLuu (below), and we were talking about how we wished we could have a kitten. At that moment, I spotted a kitty tail in the wood pile on our deck. It was attached to a little kitten, who meowed like crazy when we opened the back door and who had obviously been on her own for a while. We fed her, gave her a place to sleep, and she seems to have adopted us. She is litter-box trained, and she purrs almost non-stop. She loves to be held and has some of that little kitten behavior that kitties have when they’re separated from their mommies too soon. I think she had a rough week or so before she found us. Now, shes sleeping half on my laptop and half on me. :-)
