Here’s what Central strives to be: a hospital of grace for people sick with sin and regret; a place where lonely people can come together and not only find their Savior, but also find His people. That was Jesuss heart and thats our heart. Its why youre going to see people on every stage of the spiritual journey at this church—those who have been following Christ for years, and those who are glad the walls didnt cave in when they sat down. You will see liars, cheats, addicts, the prideful, the depressed, the stressed, the poor, the rich, the angry and the sad, the half-hearted, the lazy, the lonely and the cowardly. You are going to see them all, and maybe BE them all. It just means you are in the right place, because Jesus came to call the messed up who know they need Him, not the people who think they are doing just fine without Him. Remember that church walls dont fall in on sinners, they are built for them.
