Hermead day is 16 July because I started writing the epic on that day in 2011. This year on that day I will publish the first volume of 15,000 lines of blank verse covering the the lives of Hermes, Prometheus, Kadmos, Asklepios, and Hesiodos. This will also be the 68 year anniversary of the day the first nuclear device was detonated on 16 July 1945 in the Trinity Nuclear Test of the Manhattan Project at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_test This is an interesting coincidence considering that I plan to include the tale of Einstein and nuclear bombs dropped on Japan in World War II as part of the epic.
