Hermida gets the victory in the CX Catalonian Championships. José has taken the victory in the CX Catalonian Champs in a race that he has had under control at all times. The man from Puigcerdà started racing in this discipline a few years ago as winter preparation for the MTB season ahead and has been able to be National Champion twice. This year he is only going to attend 3 races, and today it was the second in the schedule, travelling to Manlleu (Barcelona): I felt very good, very comfortable and I think it is the best training I can make when preparing the MTB World Cups we will attend in a few months. Great 65 intense minutes, spending most of the race solo, which is also positive to improve certain aspects such as concentration. Regarding how the race unfolded, the Multivan-Merida rider was positioned far back in the grid due to the lack of points in this circuit and it has taken a lap and a half to reach the head of the course. Sensations have been very good. This kind of races demand high intensity due to its short length and I am satisfied with the good performance of my body. After a couple of quality workouts included in the last days, the race was the ideal way to round off the week explained José after the competition. The Multivan-Merida rider will participate in the Galician CX Championships on Sunday, giving end to this mini winter racing season.
