Hernandez denied bail...again. No surprise here. Anyone notice the "blood" tattoo on his hand during the coverage of the hearing? Innocent or not professional sports need to start doing personnel evaluations prior to athletes getting drafted in order to assess whether or not the athlete was involved in prior gang activity or is still involved. Children look up to professional athletes most of which are stand up guys and just want to play the sport they love. This whole thing just blows my mind especially since just last September Kate Worley and I were at LP field to watch the Pats take on the titans and I was yelling to Hernandez as he walked in the locker that he was awesome and that he makes this team better. The patriots were already in disarray before this, now their whole season is going to be negatively impacted because of one individual. Robert Kraft can cut him and the NFL can stop the sale of Hernandez merchandise but this dark cloud will loom over the patriot way for this season and seasons to come.
