Hero or Zero? Hebrews 11 is the chapter of heros of the faith... They were sawed in half, persecuted unto death,forsaken. First century Believers were eaten by lions,burnt in oil etc Today Believers in Iraq and Syria are having their heads cut off,crucified. There are also those who live their best life now. they are rich, and need nothing. They enjoy travel,good food,nice cars and homes. They can afford expensive seats in big stadiums to be entertained. These believers sit in pews and wait for a pre trib rapture. Not a thing shall harm them. When Jesus promised persecution( John 16 v 33) , it was for the Jews. They believe God just wants them to be happy. Question....who is the hero , and who is the zero?
