Hero to Zero Puling into Quick Trip this evening for some gas and a hot cup of coffee, and after the motorcycle engine comes to a stop a ruckus is heard a couple of islands over. A young man talking excessive loud, loud enough that most anyone could hear him. It seems filling the car with gas was upsetting him and he was really laying into his wife about how she uses the car but he is stuck filling it and it is cold outside. The young lady; wife, girlfriend, or significant other is just crying with face in hands. What a tragedy in the making. He pretty much stopped talking when she pointed over to show him a motorcycle is out tonight and no problems there. . The lesson here is not who is around or might take notice it is young men, yes the wife might drive your car and it will need gas. You will come home from work and you may need to tie up an overflowing trash bag and haul it to the dumpster. Yes you are going to have to do something when you get home before you get all comfy bellying up to the dinner plate but never, again never let your thoughts out or speak until you have had time to think about it. This young man could have been her Hero for doing something for her but your actions and what you said made you a Zero. Too bad you probably missed the romp in the sack, or that special dinner. What is even more you probably just threw your marriage out the window. . Think first and be the Hero instead of the Zero.
