Heroes are everywhere! I have a friend I met through church, who is a wonderful woman whos husband split a while back. She is hurting over this, of course. Having been there before, I understand her pain. I imagine others here know what Im talking about too. She is a hero, and here is why. She has a daughter who is her world, and despite her pain, she is all about the well being of that child. Through her pain she remains strong. She doesnt bash the husband, she does what is best for her child. In a me-first world, this isnt always the case. To take it a step further, though shes hurting, she still is giving of herself to others, assisting them with their problems. Ironically enough, one of her friends called her a hero recently, for walking and talking that friend thru a tough situation and decision. Being a single parent is tough, but she Heroes Up for her child, and her friends, everyday. Im very proud of her. Please keep her and her daughter in your thoughts and prayers. And all you other single parents who are in this type situation are heroes too! Keep the faith and keep doing the right thing. Everyone please give her, and other single parents, a show of support on here. Heroes aint Me-roes and these type parents prove it everyday! Heroes Brand--Be One!
