Hers a old treat from Dairy King in Hutchinson ::::: Dairy King like, Beef Burgers . Beef Burgers I have recipe that is very very close to the beef burger. I will share it with you! They are the absolute best and no comparison to nuways! Got this recipe from someone who used to work at Dairy King. Here it is: 2c water 1# lean ground beef (from Jacksons) 1/4 c seasoning mix 3/4 c Quick-Cook oatmeal (The seasoning mix is partially unknown, some of it is Lowrys seasoning salt and dried onions. I used 2 tsp of Lowrys and some dried onions and it tasted as close as anything.) In large saucepan add water, ground beef and seasoning mix. With an old fashioned potato masher, mash the meat well. Bring to a boil until the meat is brown. Turn off heat and add oats and stir well. Let stand for 5 min, may take a little longer, and mix well. If it is too thick or thin add more water or oats. ENJOY!!! :)
