Hes definitely a fighter... hes fighting and wanting to sit up, but dont think he quite understands, hes very heavily medicated, but hes still very strong, theyve had to restrain his hand to keep him from pulling out the tubes and hoses. They just did a procedure with physical therapy called dangling which was basically sitting him up for a few minutes to help with his lungs and stiffness... he did pretty good, but he seemed scared, and in pain. Seems to be resting now, but he will look at us, not sure if he sees us, but he definitely hears us! He is still on the life support, but HE is initializing each of his breaths, then the machine takes over. Hes still got a long way to go, but each day hes making progress! More surgery scheduled for tomorrow, hopefully its an early one!
