Hes left the cross! Lets not just remember the death of the cross, lets not always be seeing a Christ on the cross, the suffering and the death and the fear that it sometimes generates! We dont have a Jesus on the cross, Hes left the cross! We have a bare cross! O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1Cor.15:55) We dont have a Christ in the grave! We have a live Jesus living in our hearts! Hallelujah! Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph oer His foes! He arose the Victor oer the dark domain and He lives forever with His Saints to reign! He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose! He rose in victory, joy, liberty and freedom, never, ever to die again, so that He could redeem us as well and prevent our having to go through death! What a day of rejoicing that must have been when He rose and realised it was all over! He had won the victory, the World was saved! He had accomplished His mission! He had gone through the horrors of Hell for us and death, agony, all of it, and it was over! He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and talks with me along lifes narrow way! He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart!
