Hey Animal Allies! Are any of you working on a Biology degree and wanting to take something awesome this summer? UVU offers a summer field Ornithology class (Zoology 4600). However, this year it got cancelled. I have been told that if I get a petition of people who would like to register for the class, then they will reoffer it. Its a first block summer course, 4 UPPER DIVISION credits, and its going to be great! Ornithology is the study of birds. This class will provide in-depth study of avian evolution, systematics, developmental anatomy (wings, beaks, feathers), physiology, and social and reproductive behavior. The class includes lectures, labs, as well as field trips. Prerequisites for the class are Biology 1610 and 1620. If this is something you might be interested in, PLEASE pm me!
