NAME: Captain Fantastic PROJECT: SAG-AFTRA Feature Film DIRECTOR: Matt Ross: imdb/name/nm0743671/ STARRING: Viggo Mortensen: imdb/name/nm0001557/ FILMING LOCATION: within a 50 mile radius of Woodinville, WA for most locations. Some locations may be even further away. FILMING DATES: possible start date of July 8th. Filming all of July and August and possible dates in September. Saturdays and Sunday off. Stand-ins are needed most likely every day on set. Consider this your summer job :-) COMPENSATION: $150/day MUST BE WASHINGTON STATE RESIDENTS Must be legal to work in the U.S. MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER ** MUST have reliable transportation/own vehicle. Many locations are far away from cities and towns. Some will be in national forests. There is NO public transit to most of our locations. Union and non-union extras may work this gig, though everyone is paid the non-union rate. SAG-AFTRA does not cover theatrical extras in the NW. But since it is a SAG-AFTRA film, union members can work as extras. Non-union extras, this is NOT considered a union job. Stand-ins work directly with crew members for lighting, focus and rehearsal purposes. You must be professional on set. Stand-ins are like human props. You must be very quiet on set, take direction well and listen carefully. Having previous experience on set is a plus and an understanding of film lingo and set etiquette.
