Hey Australian Labor Party - while I appreciate all of the email and the requests for signatures on petitions, support and donations - I want to ask why, as an opposition, you are so quiet? Abbott and his cronies are running rampant on freedoms, on education, attacking health, the aged, the disabled and students. Where is the opposition? We hear very little - its like you are afraid to question or to attack. To be in opposition is to oppose and to create a set of policies that represent your members, supporters and constituents. I am starting to wonder whether Bill Shorten is the right man for the job. I hate that we have a bunch of conservatives running the country and I hate that we are being bullied by their right wing agenda. There is little I can do - and signing your petitions and sending money to combat their right wing ideology doesnt seem enough. Its time for some real opposition, rather than the passive ambivalence we are seeing now. Thanks - and end rant.
