Please consider whether you can help fulfill this (before school starts) wish: [From Mrs. ORears Adkins Web Page]: Two of our book vendors gave iPad minis to our library. In order to use these with our students, we must have durable cases for them. We wish to use these iPads as part of our library orientation the first week of school. I asked if she still needed cases: Yes, I sure do. I would love to be able to use these iPads with the students at the very beginning of school as part of their library orientation. It would turn a normal orientation into more of an interactive one with QR codes, etc. In order to do this, I will need 6 very durable cases with screen protectors. I priced some at Sam’s Club for $44.88. These are the Griffin “Survivor” cases for the iPad mini that include the screen protector. The same case is available at Wal-Mart for $59.88, and also at Best Buy for approx. $60.00. They come in several different colors. Any color, or a variety of colors would be fantastic. In addition to using the iPads in the library, I will also be able to take these iPads to the classrooms when I have the opportunity to co-teach lessons with the teachers. I learned about so many wonderful creativity and educational apps for the iPad this past summer at Tots & Technology, a conference the district sent me to in Galveston. I can’t wait to use them with our Aviators!
