Hey Crunch Members & Facebook Friends! We would like to welcome our Group X Coordinator, Nelita! Aka Lee. She is no stranger to health & fitness as she grew up in Los Angeles, California in a fitness and entertainment family. She grew up working and teaching in her parents martial arts school/gym in Westchester, CA. So fitness has always been her lifestyle! She studied many different styles growing up (Kali, JKD, Muay Thai, Northern Shaolin, Wushu, Tae Kwon Do and more). She also trained in many styles of dance including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, and belly dance at the Conservatory of Fine Arts program through Cal State LA. She fought and won titles in the Junior Olympics, US Open, and in WEKAF (World Eskrima Kali Artist Federation). While studying Visual Communications at the University of Texas at Arlington, she began teaching yoga, martial arts, and dance at many gyms. Along with the successful background mentioned, she holds certification in martial arts, national certification for group fitness and personal training. Outside of teaching group fitness, she also works as an actress and model. There is no doubt she holds a strong passion in fitness and she expresses her joy for teaching others how to live a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle!! She cannot wait to do the same for you!!
