Hey DOGFLINGERS! This is a DOWNEY dog one of you dipshits flung to another dipshit in San Diego. This girl is now on Craigslist for $69 with the threat that it wont go to RESCUE and will be PTS if not rehomed. GOOD JOB! Heres the ad - For adoption now. $69 and a home check. Basic Commands: Sit, Down, Crate, Bed, Come, Heel, Out, Off, and Stay in that order of compliance. Spayed and fully vaccinated with microchip 2-3 years old. Acquired licking syndrome on front legs and paws. Overly submissive, resident type dog, not a pet companion! She will not protect you, your home, or your family While she does listen off leash, this does not mean without fences and without immediate supervision. She has escaping behaviors if left unattended even long enough for you to go to the bathroom. She is crate trained, potty trained, and socialized to dogs and people. She likes attention, she likes treats, she likes food BUT she is typically indifferent to people and shows no loyalty. If given the opportunity she will dig up the carpet in front of doors trying to escape and throw herself at windows trying to escape. She will go after food in your pantries and on counters. All this with plenty of food (fed three times daily), water (fresh and always available), attention (throughout the day, I work at home and my boyfriend is retired and home too), toys (lots of different kinds from water bottles to Kongs), exercise (walked twice daily for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours), and dog friends (three well trained dogs without problems). She can jump a 6 foot fence, she can chew out of crates of poor construction (all plastic with plastic slits as windows) or break free of metal crates (the collapsible variety). She sheds huge amounts of fur. She is a rescue from a high kill shelter in Downey. She was described as a Belgian Tervuren, but she is not, she is an injured stray that someone at the animal shelter felt sorry for and wanted to give her a chance by labeling her as something she is not. She has horrible behaviors typical of a dog used to running free and not living in a home with people that would want a companion. She will not go to a rescue and she will only go to the animal shelter for euthanasia if she cannot find a home in 15 days from 9/25/2014. I would hate for someone to adopt this sort of dog without full disclosure, otherwise, that person would face emotional and financial heartbreak all for the love of some selfish person in fantasy land. Before answering this ad and committing to this dog you must: -Know and fully understand the commitment of owning a GSD with stray behaviors -You must have already looked up the definition of FAE (Foundational Attributional Errors) this is a psychology term for people of this society with severe judgment problems, especially when looking at animals they are warned about. -You must be educated beyond high school and it must be obvious -You must have a large fenced backyard, it really does need to be over 6 feet, or 6 foot fencing with a tie out, of the humane, over the head, line variety. Also with anchored watering system or even a lick it plug on a facet since she constantly dumps water containers and washes her feet. -You must know what the title of the ad is in relation to Type-Two GSD and health risks associated. -You must already have an inescapable crate or a plastic crate with metal windows and a gate with a center support bar (usually found on the Giant models) -You must have a lifestyle where you are able to treat her humanely with two walks per day at least 1 hour each and to not leave her in a crate continuously 5 days a week 9 hours a day. This is almost like having a wild animal that does not understand your life. I would rather euthanize an animal like this than subject it to the cruelty of good intentions leading to unnecessary injury or cruel captivity that she does have an understanding of and will not do well with. She will not go to a rescue and she will only go to the animal shelter for euthanasia if she cannot find a home in 15 days from 9/25/2014.
