Hey Dylan and everyone who wishes to share their insight, I currently go to college in the US, with financial problems, and living on a college diet I think I have done pretty well to keep myself healthy and continue to keep in shape doing various activities (including soccer of course). However due to my lack of time and money to prepare solid meals every time I eat I have to resort to bread. I have read through the Soccer Nutrition Secrets and continue to use it as a resource. I stay away from anything that is not natural and real food but bread seems to be to difficult to completely eliminate as sandwiches and many many other meals incorporate bread. Is it okay to moderately consume bread if I nearly never consume pastas, white rice, extra sugars, and extra salts. I make sure to minimize and have nearly eliminated those from my diet.
