Hey Everyone, Basically, the Oncologist said that its my decision what I do, but I need to do Chemo and radiation, at least, the Chemo pill and zoladex shot or Chemo pill and hysterectomy, but that my odds of it coming back as another cancer and/or dying are less if I do all of it?! He said the reason they recommend Chemo after surgery if cancer was found in the lymph nodes is, because once it gets into the lymph system cancer cells could have traveled through the lymph system, and there may be cancer cells floating through out my body, and they could attach to my liver, brain, etc and come back as a stage four cancer that is hard to treat and/or cure, and as of right now mine is curable if I do what he says?! (Three of my lymph nodes had cancer in them.) He also said when I was in the hospital this last time with all my surgeries that my liver enzymes were out the roof, so he did blood work today to make sure it has gone down and the cancer has not already attached to the liver, ( I think my liver enzymes were out the roof like that, because of all the pain medication and anesthesia Ive been on during and after all my surgeries, he said it may be) He is also ordering me another PET scan to make sure cancer hasnt spread anywhere else, and I see him again on the 22nd to get results of blood work and PET scan, and decide whether I will do the aggressive Chemo treatments or the Chemo pill. Im gonna go ahead and plan on doing the aggressive chemo, etc, as bad as I hate too, and just trust GOD that if that is not his plan that he will intervene and show me totally cancer free?!!!! :-) Hope all of you had a wonderfully, blessed day!!!
