Hey Everyone, For those of you who dont know, I teach 10th grade Language Arts to mostly at-risk kids in north Denver; these are incredible kids who have grown up in some very challenging circumstances. My school, (Mapleton Early College High School) is always trying out new things to engage our students. This fall, during finals when a lot of kids who struggle with school really hate school, each teacher is going to teach a series of classes that students will self select into. Each class will last 90 minutes, have a max of 25 students in it, and will be offered multiple times. I would like to teach a class about how to solve the Rubiks Cube. I taught a few kids how to do this last year and they loved it! The catch is that I dont have the money to buy 25 Rubiks Cubes, and neither does my school. They cost $10 each on Amazon. Im wondering if I can get 25 Facebook friends to donate $10 each to help me raise the money to get all the cubes I need! Can you help?
