Hey Everyone, I was doing yard work today when a little black - TopicsExpress

Hey Everyone, I was doing yard work today when a little black and tan terrier mix limped along the sidewalk past my house. It took a while to catch up to the dog, but by the time I did, a kind-hearted neighbor came out of her home to help. After a lot of driving, walking, sneaking, and running, we cornered the dog in a carport. It helped that the poor little thing was exhausted. The limp was caused by a large snap collar caught around the neck and under the front, left leg. The spot has been rubbed raw, and the dog was unable to fully extend its foot. There was no microchip. CapStar has killed the fleas. It is sleeping peacefully in my lap as I type this. It whine when I leave. It only wants to be held or petted or to sleep in your lap. It weights 14 pounds, received shots today so that it can be boarded and groomed, had its nails trimmed, and has meds for the sour armpit. I will be getting her spayed. I already have three dogs and a few cats so I really shouldnt keep the pup. My dogs seem to like pup just fine, but it is stressed by my dogs and has snapped at them a few times when theyve gotten near. I cant gauge pups temperament toward my cats at the moment. Its a little stressful. I can keep pup here tonight, but I really need to borrow a crate or kennel from someone. Tomorrow pup will go to my vet to be boarded and hopefully, groomed. I cant get all of the cockleburs out of its hair, and it needs a bath. Im sure that with a little work and love this pup would be fine with other dogs and maybe with cats. I wish I had the time to make it work here, but I just dont think I can.I wont list all of the things going on, but I could really use some help with this one. Ultimately, it would be amazing if I could find a foster or forever home for this pup. Please contact me on facebook if you or someone you know can help. Thanks, Shane
