Hey Everyone, I would like to apologize for Cody Garrison comment that he made and deleted earlier today. He had to go to hospital last night because his diabetes went out of control. He is still in CIC for another day but if he takes the insulin like he should hes gonna be OK. I ask that you people consider that Cody handles most everything at the track and sometimes he forgets his authority level. Obviously he posted this in haste and didn’t think of the repercussions I might experience and I believe his thinking just might be affected by the IV’s and monitors they have connected to him. No one can disagree that we had anything less than eventful day Nov 22 with 8 track cleanups. We lost total control of the spectators on the track...a spectator had his back turned and about knocked off the mirror of a race car and it all went south from there. We tried our best to give you guys a great race surface and a safe place to go as fast as you can. We started running just a few minutes after 10am and by 9 pm we were all pretty much used up. For anyone who has been to our other shootouts you would have to agree that last night was the only night we had problems like last night. Many may criticize me for how I handled the hundreds of people standing in the track workers way and preventing them from keeping the track in order, or the people actually standing out in the lanes with backs turned and a car coming their way and I know for a fact that the TNT guys didn’t like getting backed out of staging in order to get the class racing over with before 2 am. I really thought this grudge thing could go somewhere and I admit that all the other shootouts we had were a lot of fun but last night was pure chaos. Now if you would like my opinion on whether or not Jake’s is interested in future Grudge then I would say yes but access to starting line would be restricted and try harder to get the class racing completed in a timely fashion so we dont spend all night cleaning up antifreeze.
