Hey Everyone! I’m excited to announce that my first book, My Best Friends Funeral, will be in bookstores across the country on November 4th. It’s a fun and emotional story about growing up on the beaches of Ventura with my best friend, Tim Garrety, his early death, and my struggles through some of the most difficult parts of my life. A lot of you are close to me, or close to Tim, or close to Ventura, and I hope you resonate with the stories and the backdrop in which they take place. Some of these stories are as much yours as they are mine. For anyone less familiar with this story, my friend, Michael W. Smith, said “It’s an emotional journey through joy, sorrow and hope that shows us how to find meaning in the hardships we can’t explain, and how love can grow from our deepest loss.” If you have experienced hardship, grief or loss, or would simply enjoy a true story about a remarkable friendship, I think you’ll enjoy my book.
