Hey Everyone! So its Transformation Tuesday! I am somewhat new to this Group. I think its really Awesome to see a Group of people come together and offer encouragement, support, and motivation in order to help each other reach Fitness Goals. Part of my personal story is at the age of 25 I weighed over 315 pounds, was on anti-depressants, saw a therapist, and suffered from severe social anxiety. I was told by doctors that if I didnt make a lot of changes in my Life, my health would be at severe risk in the near future. My Fitness Journey began with a friend telling me about a Kickboxing Gym called Knuckle Up. It Honestly took me 3 weeks to get the courage to walk in the door. But I walked in eventually, I kept Going, and didnt give up. Since then, Ive lost 120 pounds. I went from a Size 44 Pants to a Size 33. Went from a Size 3X Shirt to a M-L. Went from not being able to Run a 1/4 mile to completing a Marathon in 4 Hrs 40 Minutes. Went from Fear at the thought of a Burpee to completing the Burpee Mile. But Most importantly I overcame depression, and social anxiety, and learned to how to Live a Happy, Healthy Life without medication. This Journey has taught me so much. That I will always have Goals, there will never be an end Goal. That you always have to be ready to climb. That its so easy to become comfortable, complacent, busy, and distracted. This journey has shown the importance of people. Now when I look at someone, I dont see who they are, I see who they can be. I think we all have unlimited potential. Most importantly this journey has taught me to Never Give Up! I am constantly inspired and motivated by so many in this Group. Whatever your Goal is, Dont Lose Hope. Keep Reaching. You will get there Regardless of the Distance. This is Transformation Tuesday. My Experience is that we are all more than meets the eye. Anything is Possible. Dare to Dream. Thanks so much for the opportunity to share part of my story.
