Hey FB friends, so whats the latest with me? First I have the most awesome community of support so thanks, thanks, thanks!!! I have done an MRI that confirms I have a tumor but still cant tell the stage. I have: DCIS and IDC which I believe makes me a little interesting. One of the many frustrating things with this situation is that I really dont know if Im making the right decision regarding my initial treatment. Ive opted for a bi-lateral mastectomy and that kinda sucks but it allows 0-1% reoccurrence. I am double negative but HER2 positive, this means that I will definitely do chemo and that there may be some targeted therapies. My surgery is Aug 5th at the Westside Kaiser at 7am. I believe ill be there overnight. My mom is coming - thank you momma!!! Just in case any of you are whining about your week next week - check out mine - Aug 4 - sign docs for new house Aug 5 - lose two boobs Aug 8 - new home closes Aug 15 - last day to be in current home Let the fun begin! God does not give you more than you can handle, so handle that!!! :P :P Im looking to build my moving brigade so if you are strong and love to unpack strange peoples stuff, message me on the down low! Lastly, this week will be my last 4 days to imbibe for a while. After today, Im looking for happy hour buddies! Love you guys!!!!
