Hey FB this is not a joke or something I need you to repost. I am not asking for money but I am asking for prayers. Most of you dont know this but my husband and I are currently living at our church. Yes thats right we are living in the warming center with the homeless by choice. We rented out our house in Dearborn (which included that new tenants keep my child during the week so she can stay in her school) and moved to Monroe back in the summer. My husband took a huge pay cut and now he works in Toledo, OH. Of course we can stay with family or have stayed in our condo that was in Monroe but God told us to sell it and live with the people we are serving. I am doing ministry 24/7 Its been rough and I even had to shower at the YMCA (in the beginning I worked out first but after a few weeks I just showered and left LOL) but thank the Lord we now have a shower at the church. So heres where I need your prayers God told us that the Catholic Church on the next block is ours. We have been negotiating with the Archdiocese of Detroit for the property which includes a church, a school (which we would use as a homeless shelter and for community outreach), a hall, a four bedroom house and two parking lots but we have not worked out a deal yet but I truly believe it will happen soon and will continue living in the church until God moves me. I have stepped out on faith and am trusting God for a miracle on Second St please pray for us!
