Hey, Facebook! When people edit something that they had - TopicsExpress

Hey, Facebook! When people edit something that they had previously written, they do it because they clearly want to change what they wrote. Now, following this logical progression, and walking down the path of this beautiful and illustrious syllogism, I think it would be safe to assert that if someone wants to change what they wrote, for whatever reason that might be (e.g., a mistake in grammar, spelling, or just simply wanting to change the message) I dont think any person wants the whole freakin world to be able to see their edit history! The whole point of editing, actually, the very definition of the word edit is to change by correcting, revising, or adapting; to modify; to eliminate and delete! Change this feature! Its just downright stupid. Nobody wants the world to see their dirty laundry. Allow us to edit what we wrote, and let that edit be an actual edit. Dont let our original post just stay there for everyone to see how stupid we were before (operative word here) editing our post. OR, if youre so set on keeping it in your vast archives as you collect data on us, whilst performing your wonderful and manipulative human experiments, at least give us a privacy option so we can make our original post invisible to the rest of the cruel and judgmental world of the Internet. Thank you, Everyone That Uses This Site
