Hey Facebook friends and fans....today begins my #retirement my youngest child made 18 yesterday so I collected my free paper and burned it in excitement..Iiiiiys FREE!!!! This job had no blueprint, no pay, no vacation, no sick leave and I had to be dedicated, strong and set an example ...#singlemother... I didnt get a party or even a watch, for my dedicated years of service. My children grew up in my salons so I would be remiss if I dont take this time to thank my clients, employees, friends and family for taking them to school, picking them up from school, taking them to baseball practice, cheerleading practice, coming with me to dance recitals, dance competition, Taekwondo events, parades, photo shoots and modeling classes, took them to the movies...for even bringing by a plate of food while I worked and went to college...while I started clubs and associations and held meetings and in general kept my plate full...you guys were my village helping me to raise my children and I thank you...but none of this could have been possible if it wasnt for my God...i spoke my wants, needs, dreams, hopes, goals and aspirations into the atmosphere...HE made all this possible... HE gave me the strength and the virility to persevere...when the struggle got real he made it possible for me to discern truth in peoples words and actions...when I fell down...and I fell many many times HE gave me the resilience to get back up dust my knees off...clean up the scratch and bruises...listen to me cry and let me know that I was bruised but not broken...today a new journey begins..and Im ready for every new twist and turn bump, pothole, ditch and bend as I travel this unwinding road... #retirement
