Hey Foodaholics, writing a review first time so please excuse me and sorry for no pictures. So the place is South Cafe, near Saman complex Vastrapur. It has opened recently and claims to serve authentic Bengaluru food. Menu contains Filter coffee, Vadas, Idlis, Madhur vada (special starter *recommended, its sweet (#sweettooth)) Main course contains all types of combos and meal offers and Dosas and Vadas and Idlis and other south indian stuff. It was a weekend time and places were housefull, so I decided to try out this new place at first I was a bit skeptical about trying as it seemed newly open but there was no crowd. However, my gut asked to tried it and to my surprise it wasnt bad at all. Ppl started pouring in too in decent amount. I had ordered Masala Dosa and Mysore Masala Dosa and Vada (2pcs) (* Ya, Ive a good appetite :P ;)). The price was reasonable and service was excellent. The waiters use to regularly keep a check if I needed sambar or chutneys or order something. So heres the rating Food 4/5 Ambience 2.5/5 Service 4/5 (Oh yes, I was hungry and they didnt even took 10 min to serve, my order was before that, but im sure you can ask them to delay) Overall Rating 3/5 I had a talk to Miss Srividya, the owner then, She was really sweet and gave me a discount too! My Bill was 250 rupees. And yea, their menu includes the taxes too. Yet it seemed reasonably. Nice place, new and offers good food at reasonable price.
