Hey Guys, I am currently looking for a permanent/seasonal position as a Deckhand, with a private or charter yacht. I have been yachting since I was 13 years old and I spent a large percentage of my childhood maintaining and cleaning yachts and I have done a 3 months season out in France recently working on Super yachts before coming back to the UK. I have over 3000 Nautical miles logged with night passages and long 12 hour stints on watch. I am young, energetic and hardworking with a good sense of humour and enthusiastic at the prospect of being a very keen member of crew. I have dayworked on yachts such as: Lionheart 63 (over monaco grand prix) ODESSA II 74 La mirage 62 Coral island 72 Bliss 44 Risky Business 48 Viking 24 I am very experienced at driving tenders in and around harbours and out at sea as well as docking them in difficult conditions. I am also very capable at line handling as I often dock smaller yachts being the only deck crew. In addition to this I have other useful skills such as experience at teak furniture refurbishment using semco, painting, sanding of guardrails, polishing, waxing, teak decking II part. My current qualifications include: - Superyacht Deckhand Course - RYA Powerboat Level II - VHF short Range Radio - RYA Competent Crew - STCW95 + Security awareness - Superyacht Diploma - Valid ENG1 I am quite a active guy, I enjoy sports and water sports, Going out on nights, running, swimming, gym and travelling.
