Hey. Hoping its ok to post a question about tyres here. Just wondering what combos people are using. I have a Kona hardtail (beginner) and have new Maxxis Aspens on whcih have been fine around the Gorge and then Hans Loop etc. Fine as in I havent tried much else! So biking at Buller proved very sketchy for me. Going over Rocky sections (hardtail too) was seriosuly sketchy. Im hearing recommendations of Racing Ralphs. At the Gorge do people run these and would they run a different tyre on the front. Maybe the Nobbily Nic on front and Racing Ralph on rear 2.2 on 26 inch? thanks for any suggestions. The Gorge, Hans Loop and Smiths Gully looking like typical terrain i would go on.
