Hey, I read an article about the standard of perfection society - TopicsExpress

Hey, I read an article about the standard of perfection society imposes on women. I read that 100% of celebrity and models on TV and in photos are “touched up”! That’s right, all touched up… eyes are softened, dark circles erased, chins are trimmed, imperfections erased, necklines vanish, bodies are thinned down. I was not born as and raised into beautiful, tall, thin, and blonde. The blonde part I easily rectified, but the other physical attributes have been about impossible to remedy… not that there is anything wrong with being unattractive, short, and chubby. I’ve made it work. But, dang it… I want to be touched up too! Not just in the pictures of me but whenever I go out and about. I don’t want to use my old Cover Girl. I want a professional make-up artist to work on me! Imagine if a professional spent 90-minutes on my face every day. It would be a challenge, but I believe magic could be accomplished. WoW, I would look fabulous in and out of pictures! And, just think, anyone looking at all of my pictures… my kids, grandkids, and eventually all their family members long after I am gone… will say, “Hey, that Bonnie, she was pretty darn good looking!! WooT-WooT… Haaa✿bonnie✿¯`✿.¸¸✿
