Hey Journey Fans! We have some good news and bad news. Lets start with the good news. 1.) Journey is a extremely sweet girl who loves to give kisses. 2.) Her heart worm test came back negative. So we need to start her on preventive immediately. 3.) Her stool sample also came back clear. (Meaning her weight loss is due to starvation, not internal parasites) Dont worry we are working on getting her fattened up. Now with the bad news, 1.) She has a good bit of weight to gain. 2.) She doesnt have any manners. So she needs some training. 3.) Her skin condition is demodex mange. Which thankfully is not contagious but will take a while to treat. She needs a special grain-free diet, immune boosting daily pill, and meds to treat the mites. This involves multiple vet visit for skin scrapes, and antibiotics. Her hair loss covers most of her body. 4.) She isnt spayed or vaccinated either, so that will be an added expense. We still need your help to get this girl healthy. So far her bill is $76 dollars. That is all of her tests plus vaccines, preventatives, and antibiotics. We still need to get her the correct type of food($37.99) and her immune system pills($45 - rescue price).
