Hey Lindy Hop friends around the world. You may have seen this post going around, and if you havent yet, it is very much worth a read. It is sad, and it is disappointing, but we must take the truth as it comes, even when it is hard. I read the post and despite how much Steven Mitchell has meant to me over the years, I found his actions with Sarah (and with the other women who have recently spoken up) disgusting, really honestly disgusting. Ill not summarize it here, Sarah Sullivan has spoken clearly and honestly and if you would like to know what is being talked about (and especially if you want to join the discussion) please read this all the way to the end. I cant imagine how hard it would be to participate in this discussion in a language that was foreign to me. And I know there are people all around the world who care very much about this Lindy Hop scene and about Steven and I want them to be able to read and discuss this while being fully informed. Lindy Hop is a global scene and this shouldnt be a discussion that is limited to english-speakers only. To help people read this so they can understand exactly what has happened - Are there any people out there who would be able to translate this into another language?
