Hey New England LARP folks, I have a nutty, and currently hypothetical question for you. Many of you have probably been to Ye Olde Commons and, like me, probably really enjoyed what they offer. For those of you who dont know, Ye Olde Commons is a campsite in Charlton, MA that caters primarily to LARPs, and has a sort of medieval and fantasy aesthetic. But that’s not really my hypothetical, just some background. What I want to ask is, hypothetically, what would you think about another campsite that caters specifically to LARPs? Not just fantasy or medieval mind you, but instead a bit more neutral and modular so it could aesthetically fit in just about any LARP type out there. Cause I mean, if you look around New England there are a LOT more LARPs than just the predominant fantasy- we got steampunk, post-apocalyptic, modern and horror…we got lots of things up here. So yeah. I’m just throwing a probe out, and want to gauge interest. It’d be a huge undertaking, a crazy project, and a full time job…but if it’s something people would want, I figure it’s something that could happen. Cheers!
