Hey Oak Park community, the former Fresh and Easy site has been bought by investors who desire to turn that prime commercial space into high density housing squished on the Broadway commercial corridor. I hear they are open to the community input, but it has to pencil out financially for them. What would you like to see on that prime commercial spot that would be financially feasible for them to build? If they put housing, they have to rezone it for residential and eradicate any opportunity for that site to become a place of economic, job generating potential.
