Hey! Put down the cold Turkey sandwich and enjoy Ton Up Tuesday with us! Andy Gee from Andy’s Speed Shop near Manchester England is joining us again with this 1982 BMW R100 scrambler he calls “Bones”. “I bought it off a chap who had owned it for 20 years,” Gee said. “Before I took it away he sat on the bike for ten minutes to say goodbye. There was a tear in his eye.” Gee said he fully stripped the frame and shortened and de-tagged the rear subframe. The seat base and cover are handmade. The fuel tank is the original steel, which was stripped and polished then clear coated. Retro scrambler bars, Conti tires, BSA rear lamp. Want to see your bike featured here? Post your finished build on Instagram or Facebook with #tonuptuesday in the caption, send a private FB message, or email us at caferacertv@gmail. We will feature at least one bike every Tuesday. Give the make, model and year of the bike, your favorite specs, custom parts you built, and if there’s an interesting story behind where it came from, tell it! If you didn’t build the bike, then please list the builder. Shop for Café Racer shirts and DVDs. https://facebook/CafeRacerTV/app_189977524185 Use this link for mobile devices. j.mp/1qxG0lt
