Hey Riders, The most positive information I have on hourly - TopicsExpress

Hey Riders, The most positive information I have on hourly forecast gives me a 20-40% change of rain between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm tomorrow. Greater chance of rain as day goes on. My personal cutoff for riding is 30% chance which would limit the ride to an hour or two if we started at 10 am. I have seen one 10 day forecast which includes next Sunday and shows much colder temperatures with a chance of snow so trading this Sunday for next is not encouraging at this point. Of course things could be much different one week from now since forecasts are not super accurate a week in advance. Given the above scenario I am suggesting the following: Tomorrow we have an unofficial ride of short duration assuming it is not raining or threatening to rain at 10 am. I think a run out the Ocoee to the Olympic Center and back would be a good choice. That should take 1 1/2 to 2 hours. If it starts to look like rain we can turn around and come straight back. Next week if the forecast is good we take our planned trip to Tellico Plains and possibly up the Cherohala for a few miles. If the weather is bad as forecasted we sit tight and wait another week. So, if you are getting cabin fever like I am I will see you tomorrow morning at 10 am at Hardees on Lee Highway in Ooltewah unless it is raining or the forecast shows rain as certain. If anyone has a crystal ball and can help in the process, give me a call. Be Safe, Vic 423-883-1121
