Hey Riverside beware as I was putting my kids in the car in the parking lot of Walmart on Van Buren a lady approached me with a clip board and asked me if I had children in elementary I said yes then she said if I wanted for my daughter to get a free computer/tablet I said what kind of info do you guys need. She said they needed her name, age, date of birth and SSN. As soon as she said they needed her SSN I stopped her and told her politely no thanks thats too much info and Im not comfortable with releasing that kind of info to a stranger. Long story short she got mad and said that I was wrong and that her kids where engineers and what ever else she mumbled ... Beware of scams like this she also claimed she works with the district. Funny thing is my daughters school has never mentioned anything like this.
