Hey SAG-AFTRA - hows that merging the pension and health plans going? Just got a letter saying I didnt earn enough through AFTRA last year for a pension credit. Was juuuuuust short of the minimum (Whew - thank the gods for my SAG earnings, I guess). But at least were merged now so that I dont have to worry about this whole separate union earnings thing affecting my total bottom line and...um...oh. Oops. And the direct quote on the phone from the rep at the AFTRA Retirement Plan office? Merger was never about the pension and health plans. Remember when they made fun of IMAP and the questions we were asking Paul Christie and Paul Reggio? Sigh... FICOR anyone?
