Hey Scott I just wanted to let you know how very shocked and sad I was when I got the call last Sunday morning about Kevin.I thank God for the friendship of Kevin and you for over a Quarter Of a Century. Your Brother definitely was one of a kind. He surely broke the mold! Just reading all the posts and remembrances of Kevin makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time.I liked the picture someone submitted with Eddie VanHalen. Remember we were doing one of those TV movies with his then Wife at the d courthouse in Burgaw. Around lunchtime Eddie comes over to our truck looking for some grip milk as he called it. Meaning beer. I sent him over to your truck and could hear Kevin yell Eddie effing VanHalen I dont believe it! I took that picture for him then he took one for me.Good times. Also another story comes to mind when you mentioned bumping into Kevin in a grocery store . You know Ive been in Atlanta the last 3+ years, but always come straight home between jobs or any other break. Seems like I would always bump into Kevin in the grocery store near our house. This past Summer I remember going in for a few things, leaving my Wife and Daughter in the car, and running into Kevin.Well..... you get the picture..... about an hour later I come out carrying three items, Kevin walking out with me, and my Wife says.that explains everything! That was Kevin.Never just hey,how you doin. He wanted to know really how are you,how have you been.Like someone said he never met a stranger. I know my life is better for knowing him, and the world is a better place with people like Kevin Davis passing through it. I hope you find comfort and peace knowing how many lives he touched and how many people he made laugh and feel good about themselves . Also say hey to my Sister and give her a hug.I can hear Kevin sayIts all good, just chilin like a villain. You know it.
