Hey! Since some of you guys have been asking about lotion bars, I figured Id make a post in case others were interested. For those of you that dont know, Ted and I have replaced a lot of our household toiletries/cleaners with natural, safer options. One of these items is lotion! Store bought lotion has some less than desireable ingredients. It is also 50% water, which can actually leave your skin feeling more dehydrated, causing you to use more lotion. Round and round you go! Sound familiar? (hint hint....sugar!) Ted and I have been using these lotion bars for years and we love them! I use all natural, organic ingredients and they can be scented with essential oils. All oils used are therapuetic grade and 100% pure. What is a lotion bar? Simply, its a bar of lotion :) It is solid at room temperature and when you rub it in your hand, on body/face, the lotion melts off. The best part (aside from the clean ingredients) is that a little goes a long way! One 2 oz bar lasts me about a month, but I use mine multiple times a day. Ingredients are few: coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax and essential oil (optional). If a bar is not your thing, I can also make whipped lotion which is similar in texture to the lotion you by at the store (a little thicker). I have started selling these again and wanted to let you all know! I will post scents available and cost below :) If you have any questions, please let me know!
