“Hey, Soul Sister”, by American rock band Train, you may - TopicsExpress

“Hey, Soul Sister”, by American rock band Train, you may remember from 2009. The song was certified Platinum x6 by RIAA. Written by Patrick Monahan, Espen Lind and Amund Bjorklund, this super-catchy song featured ukulele as the lead instrument. But in this key (E major), it’s perfect for acoustic guitar. So, if you have a friend who plays uke, you have the makings of a great duet. The video is a cool, acoustic live version. Additionally, I have transcribed a version in E major for ukulele, with easier uke chords @ capo 4. See here: gartfrets.net/Odd_Ditties/Odd_Ditties_E-H/hey_soul_sister_-_ukulele.txt Is it cool to capo a uke, though...? I’m unsure. This is just one of those songs that you have to learn. So, have a look here: gartfrets.net/Odd_Ditties/Odd_Ditties_E-H/hey_soul_sister.txt
