Hey There Facebook Friends! All of these Ice Bucket Challenges to support ALS could not come at a more sad, and almost ironic time for our family. This year our familys world has been turned upside down. My Grandpa, The Patriarch of our family, Dave Simas, has been diagnosed with ALS. It is one of the most horrific and fast moving diseases I have ever seen, it has paralyzed us all and we couldnt be more thankful and grateful for all of the recent awareness that has been brought to the forefront of everyones thoughts and prayers. October 4, We are wearing our Team Dave Shirts, and Walking for my Grandpa. If any of you want to join and walk with us, I would love it! Our Teams Goal is to raise $3,000, 100% of the money will go straight to research to defeat ALS, and it is completely Tax Deductible, if you would like to donate.... Well... Id love that too!! Lol!
