Hey Victoria, were opening shared office space tentatively called ‘Center for Social Impact’ (the Dock?) May 1st next to Habit in Chinatown. A great opportunity for home desk folks to jump into a vibrant, shared community space. Lots of light, high ceilings, brick walls and open beams. 25 desks plus a large boardroom. Full time desk $300/month can be with split one other person (Hive Vancouver is $475-$600). Some locked offices available with 4 or more desks. Desk, internet, and screen projector included (you bring your fave chair) Perfect for people working on community based initiatives that would like to collaborate and seed ideas - get input from outside their sector. Folks behind this initiative include Jason Found, Nicole Chaland, Peter Elkins. Theres already interest in about half the desks to date.
