Today many who call themselves Christians are being evil and conforming to the world forgetting that the Lord still watches us closely and examines us as He did the people in Noahs time (Genesis 6) and also in Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18). As we know most of these people got their punishment as they were evil. When God looks at your life what does He see? Does He see a righteous man/woman who does not compromise their faith in order to fit into the world- a Daniel that would rather be thrown into a den of lions than to worship false gods (Daniel 6)? A Joseph that avoided temptation at all cost (Genesis 39)? Jesus is coming soon on a day that no one but the Father knows...are you ready? Are you watching and praying so that you do not fall into temptation? (Matthew 26:41) Whose manual are you reading; Gods word or the worlds ideas in life? Let us be Christians who know the word well lest we be deceived for all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Let us worship God in truth and in spirit....not just on Sundays but every day. If you are living like the world repent now while there is still time and believe in Christ for He is more than ready to purify and provide the Holy Spirit who will lead you into the righteous path. God wants us either hot or cold...He hates lukewarmness(Rev 3:16). Be blessed, watch and pray. Psalms 11:4-7: But the lord is in his holy Temple; the lord still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth. The lord examines both the righteous and the wicked. He hates those who love violence. He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds. For the righteous lord loves justice. The virtuous will see his face. 1 John 3:10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. Matthew 24:42-44 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
