Hey adventurous Foothill Strider trail runners! Its almost time for our first once a month trail run. Trail runs will take place on the last Saturday of the month (as long as it doesnt interfere with a race we plan to run as a team), this months trail run will be on Saturday the 26th. We will meet at the Coytee Loop Branch in Greenback at 7:00 a.m. for a 7ish out and back skirting along the lake on Coytee Loop Branch with the turn around point being the Davis Ferry Trail Head. I hope to see you all there!!! DIRECTIONS: THIS RUN WILL BEGIN AT THE SAME LOCATION AS THE LAKESHORE TRAIL TREK. From Knoxville head south on 129 (Alcoa Highway) toward the airport. At the split after the airport, stay right on 129. Turn right onto 321 (Lamar Alexander Parkway) for 12.7 miles, then turn left onto TN-95S for 1.8 miles. Turn right onto Axley Chapel Road for 1.3 miles, turn left to stay on Axley Chapel for 0.2 miles, then Axley Chapel becomes Coytee Road. In 0.3 miles turn left and park near the big bridge.
